she said she had a "glass lens" after an operation. anyone know about this?

Yea, you can't see it though. Think of her operation like an intense version of Lasik with no visible evidence of it. She does still have different colored eyes, despite what was said in a recent article. The difference, though, is very minor and only visible in HQ pictures. One greener, one hazel.

She has said that her heterochromia was essentially cause for and went hand-in-hand with a cataract affecting one eye. Her surgery was basically a permanent lens implant, I guess, whereas Lasik is all about reforming the shape to correct vision issues.

Huh. It's like wearing a ring as an accessory. It's just a different look and I don't see what a big deal it is for anyone who doesn't wear prescription lenses to do so by wearing non-prescription frames. It's done by A LOT of people, especially in hipster-flooded California.

She doesn't. I'd read her sight is nearly 20/20 after surgery. Her and Emma Stone are surrounded by their hipster friends and take some cues from them which I don't find to be offensive or douchey.

I don't think it's douchey, it only annoys me because so many people have worn them I can't stand the sight (hah) of them anymore! But that photo was from a few years ago, and that's the only time she's been photographed wearing glasses.

The official 2013 Cannes Film Festival line-up was announced at a Paris press conference today. Debuting Out of Competition will be J.C. Chandor’s anticipated All Is Lost, which sees Robert Redford take the sole role in a film without any dialogue; and Guillaume Canet’s Blood Ties, featuring an all-star cast led by Matthias Schoenaerts, Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana, Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, Marion Cotillard, Noah Emmerich, and James Caan.

The 66th Cannes Film Festival will be held from 15th to 26th May.

That news has saw Warner’s release this press release revealing the plot synopsis and full cast for the film hitting cinemas in 3D on 25th July 2014.

Filming is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Village Roadshow Pictures’ “Jupiter Ascending,” an original science fiction epic adventure from filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski. Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in the film, which began shooting at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden on April 2, 2013.

From the streets of Chicago to far flung galaxies whirling through space, “Jupiter Ascending” was conceived and written by the Wachowskis, who are also directing. Award-winning producer Grant Hill, with whom the writer/directors have collaborated since “The Matrix” Trilogy, is producing the film together with the Wachowskis. Roberto Malerba and Bruce Berman are serving as executive producers.

"Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks.
