Mila Kunis

Yeah she's absolutely not vapid. She's always very sharp and unaffected. She just seems like the down to earth chick that anyone would want to be friends with.

KUNIS: I do. I think that an actor is more likely to be forgiven in the public's eye than an actress.

FRANCO: Why?

KUNIS: I don't know. I think there will always be a double standard between males and females, so I think that an actress is more likely to protect her public persona, so to speak, than an actor would be. An actor goes crazy in a hotel room, gets trashed, throws a bench, breaks a window, and he is considered a rock star. An actress does that and she's sent to rehab and is thought to have problems and issues and can't get a job.

FRANCO: But what you're talking about is off-screen behavior. What about on-screen behavior? Do you think that men and women are treated differently in terms of what they do on screen?

KUNIS: I think that it goes both ways.

Just finished reading the complete interview. James is so pretentious (I'm sorry--I like and respect him, especially as a fellow English Lit./Writing major) but he is super annoying in large doses. Anyway, I completely fell in love with her. What a cool chick, man. She's got a good head on her shoulders, and it's so refreshing to hear from someone so unaffected. Her answers were thoughtful and thankfully un-"canned." My respect for her has ballooned like crazy. She and Emma Stone are my favorites right now.

Gorgeous and awesome! This photoshoot is definitely my favorite and the more interviews I read, the more I fall in love with her! This girl is absolutely awesome, so down to earth, so 'normal' and she doesn't let herself get into all these Hollywood stuff. She's THE BEST!

There is perhaps no contemporary star who quite represents the modern woman the way Mila Kunis does. Which is why I find it amazing and appropriate that she should find herself as the face of the new Miss Dior Bag Fall/Winter 2012 campaign.

Lensed by Vogue favourite Mario Sorrenti, Kunis appears in a series of photographs and a video inspired by 1950s Hollywood glamour. Although a thoroughly modern icon, Kunis looks timeless and elegant in the black and white shots.

Her large hair bow, dark makeup, and sky-high heels capture both an innocence and high fashion aesthetic that is extremely compelling.

In fact, Dior describes the photographs as, “The very essence of the House of Dior.”

Quite a compliment indeed.

Why do they always do weird stuff with her hair? Bouffants, sickeningly sweet, etc. Her hair is one of her best features; let it be!

Excerpt from InStyle Australia August 2012

What are your five fashion staples?
“Sweatpants in every colour and really comfy cotton; and oversized, burnout tees in every colour; a sundress; a pair of flip-flops; and an amazing pair of pumps.”

^I'm not surprised about the sweatpants mention. Love that she's not pretending to be all ~fashionista~

^ I agree. I like how down to earth she is about her style in her off time and then glams it up on the red carpet.
Sorry, but I can't really relate to a celebrity/someone when they tell me an essential piece of clothing I need is a Chanel jacket or something.

so Ted the other day, and could not get over how beautiful she was in every shot. Her make-up artist is fantastic

She's maintained the same make-up artist, Tracey Levy throughout the years ever since Forgetting Sarah Marshall. She also did Mila's Dior make-up for the recent campaign and probably that Interview shoot you posted about in the magazine rumor thread that did manifest itself! :flower:

She's on cover of GQ Russia August 2012
