I think some of it, especially the coats, might look good separately. But as whole outfits, this time Minä Perhonen is not my cup of tea.

Hi Mullet and WhiteLinen!

Thanks for starting this thread. The leggings and booties are so special:heart: !
The overall look makes me think of the eighties take on the rustic folkloric theme, like Kenzo back then...patterned knits, layered prints and layered skirts, peter-pan collars.

Hi Melisande!

I like the prints very much...are there more photos or was this all?

isn't it the real first WINTER collection, we can see...??
i like some items... but the styling is a bit... hard for my eyes... but I could like it with time...

the styling is terrible, really.. The only piece I can see myself wearing is probably the second coat.
I really don't like this.

love it.free spirited, delicate, fearless. some outfits are really taking me places. happy.

I've always wondered where the name "Minä Perhonen" comes from? And is it Minä or Mina?

^It's "Minä". This is from the website:
1995 - Started with brand name "minä" by a designer Akira Minagawa. "minä" means "I" in Finnish.

2003 - Changed brand name to "minä perhonen". "perhonen" means "butterfly" in Finnish, with a hope of creating many beautiful designs as butterfly wings fluttering lightly in the sky.
Thank you MulletProof for the pictures, I was waiting for this! The styling puts me off a little, but I can see a few pieces that I really like.

But why did he choose to use Finnish words? Does he have a connection here or...?

Reminds me of Steve J and Yoni P's collection they showed at ON/OFF London - that nomadic influence but its more rural Russian here.... I like some of it!
