Hi Softie and Runner! Golden Week is a week which contains many national holidays, so many people just take the entire week off...travel is frustrating at best...

Runner, Yokohama must have been perfect in this glorious weather! I meant "ho/NYO?", as in cocking your head to one side in a wide-eyed and questioning manner... I use it to mean the naive, slightly organic and childlike aesthetic I find so very Japanese...it's interesting to see people relate to it internationally.

Japanese animation sometimes favors this aesthetic...the Kodama "forest spirits" from Princess Mononoke are very "honyo?" for example...


I personally find the Muji aesthetic kind of honyo as well...
