Konbanwa Runner! Are you enjoying Golden Week? I just came back early from Nakame, fun night out...it's good to find you here. :flower: Thanks for the beautiful photos! Mina Perhonen knows exactly what looks good on Japanese women... I call it the "honyo?" aesthetic...:p ...very naif...

konbabwa Melisande

I took a short drive to Yokohama.
isn't it best not to go far during the week
honyo? real leaf?

the shell bracelet is lovely....
^_^...

Hi Softie and Runner! Golden Week is a week which contains many national holidays, so many people just take the entire week off...travel is frustrating at best...

Runner, Yokohama must have been perfect in this glorious weather! I meant "ho/NYO?", as in cocking your head to one side in a wide-eyed and questioning manner...:p I use it to mean the naive, slightly organic and childlike aesthetic I find so very Japanese...it's interesting to see people relate to it internationally.

Japanese animation sometimes favors this aesthetic...the Kodama "forest spirits" from Princess Mononoke are very "honyo?" for example...:p

I personally find the Muji aesthetic kind of honyo as well...

ahh I got it!
thanks Melisande
sometimes it is even spectacular to see the stuff totally detoxified,
especially in this polluted world.
even though I like doku, aku, egu, etc.

the kitty is made out of water buffalo horn, softgrey
I confess I felt like getting those shells somehow.

this gave so many ideas to sew! :buzz: now i just have to get some very cute fabric and start making new clothes as it turns out that i can't find any of these pieces from finland

^I find it funny that they don't sell it here, since this brand is made by finns, right? At least Minä, perhonen is Finnish language.

the designer and the company is japanese...

;)
