MM6 does a great job at respecting Martin's legacy as always. It's a really well-done tribute concert (this sounds shady, I know, but I swear it's not), with some new renditions here and there to make it seem fresh - it works for the brand. The casting is always on-point; seeing NINA from Bar Italia was a nice but fitting surprise.

MM6 always offers a more basic rendition of Margiela but nonetheless I always love their stuff. Maybe we won’t wear the full look but separate garments are always fun - and
easy - to style. I don’t feel tired after watching mm6 shows. What I appreciate a lot as a customer about it is that you won’t break your bank and legs buying their shoes. For me that’s important lol

Great collection as usual.

It’s really concentrated on the last 3 years of Martin’s work.

I just wish they made a new interesting version of the Incognito sunglasses.

In reality, MM6 collections always works somehow because they are in line with the purpose of La Ligne 6.

Even if Margiela’s design language has literally been exploited from left and right, nothing beats the legitimacy of it codes being used at Maison Margiela.

With Fendi, my other favorite of Milan.

[Cocteau Stone]

A touch cliche with the sunglasses but wow everything here is just so sleekly done and chic. There’s even a great dose of mature sexiness to it which I think is gorgeous.

I’m still not a fan of those kind of shoulders, but they really got them to work well here. It’s just so direct. No crazy shoulder insets on top of the pads, weird sleeves or overzealous necklines. Very clear cut and sharp. A little seductive too, in a dom kind of way.
