Reading through the posts I've missed while I've been away (I subscribe to this thread

) I really think some of you need to go easier on the models. My mum always says to me not to worry about what you wear out because no one is judging you, but here it is clearly not the case. I certainly know I would never have the courage to go outside if my outfit was to be posted on a thread like this for people to critique. Now, I'm ALL FOR
constructive critisim, but IMO the

's and

's are unnessacary. Compliments like "I love Liu's blazer", paired with advice such as "she should have opted for black jeans instead, or no converse" would be much more appropriate, to the what could be deamed as power posting, "I hate it" comments.
We can't, or at least I feel we shouldn't expect all models to always wear intresting, creative or inventive outfits (like Iekeliene or Hanne tend to do). Some pictures look like they're on errands ergo in casual casual gear, but unlike us, models don't really have the benifit of annominity. However I
do think models should but effort into their outfits during FW, because it could help with promoting their image etc, but not all girls may be confident, comfortable or like wearing "creative" outifts. Style like Iekeliene's may be intresting to look at, but not many people at all are similar. I like the "boring" outfits, they're something I can emulate myself, and may only seem repetative as most of the world share the same casual style.
Saying "She should have worn this, or this, instead of that" would be much more beneficial to this thread, and possibly to the models. We have to remeber they can read this, so lets give them advice or your opinion of how they may have styled it better, rather than what is commonly being said. I also don't mean to offend any members with this little rant.
(PS: appoligies for my poor spelling
)
I'd like to say I like Liu's outfits, but she should have gone with different shoes, maybe in black. I don't mind the leggings too much. They can look rideclous, but her top half is spot on, so that pulls some of the attention away.
