hm maybe it's just her style but Frida's outfits always look a little "forced" to me.

At the beginning of her career Frida had a cute style, what with the blazers and the shorts. But now it seems like she's trying too hard.

yeah, she's trying too hard... but evidently not hard enough to break out the ironing board

and I like that unnamed girl's outfit a lot, but she seems a little to slight for it. a nice navy cardigan could help that though.

Frida looks good in the blue jacket but those heels are so demode :ninja:
Even my granma wears higher heels nowadays

i agree so much. i give her credit for doing her own thing and trying out a lot of different styles and she has worn nice ensembles in the past, but her style is generally a hit or miss for me, although leaning a bit more on the "miss" side.

Anna and Doro are just total cuteness, and I usually like Frida's outfits but sometimes it seems like she's trying to grow up to fast. She's lovely nonetheless :)

I don't really think Frida is trying too hard, there's something a bit ironic in her outfit that leads me to believe she's exploring with styling and inspiration and really just having fun. Despite the appearance, I think it's far more lighthearted and less 'try hard' than the myriad of models in their denim cut-offs and leather jackets imo.

Her look reminds me of this interview with The Strokes for The Face, and how their look (suits and ties instead of the usual 'I'm in a band' uniform') was 'almost like you’re going to work but you obviously look like no one would hire you.' [See Frida's wrinkles and ripped tights]. I love it. :p:heart:
