Models Switching Agencies

:o interesting post tBR. I have teeny little question though: If a model switches agencies, her bookers also move with her or does she start with someone new? Are bookers and agents the same thing?

In some situations the booker leaves the agency first then the model follows.
But with the majority of switches, the model gets someone new--thus the switch.

Bookers and agents are the same thing. Manager is different.
I could go on and go on but "agent" isn't really used colloquially in the industry anymore because most "agencies" aren't actually "agencies" but management companies. But I use it because it's easier for tfs community to understand that way...

^ thanks for answering! I was afraid my question sounded a bit moronic and English is not my primary language so I get lost with the terms...

Interesting, modela. Thanks for sharing!

It's not surprising given the strange ranking of certain models.

what's up with Gertrud Hegelund?
she switched to IMG worldwide and left her MA (Elite Copenhagen), but now she's back at Elite NY?

^That's quite peculiar. The people at Elite NY must have been raging since she could have been the second girl to switch from their agency to IMG and become successful, maybe they found away to get her back...

so, is Sessilee Lopez leaving MAJOR MODELS?
Will she be heading to SUPREME MODELS?

Seriously, what's the point? If Supreme is her only option, then she could just stay at Major. She belongs with one of the major players.

Shame that she's leaving NYMM since she was like the first in a line of girls that made them a more reputable agency.
