this may be very silly question. what makes a top model want to leave to another agency? For exgample if Joan Smalls was at Next and still did blue chip work and is world known what makes it different that she goes to IMG or Ford ?

img prides itself on being able to propel models to supermodel status (endorsements, beauty contracts etc) so that could be one reason
also, if a model's booker moves to another agency then they might make a decision to move with them
or a model might get a better offer from another agency (less agency commission etc)
