I think Luxx said something about this in MCB's thread, but it's not entirely that weird of a move. "Women" is the umbrella name for the company, and there are three boards in that company: Women, Supreme and Direct. She stayed in the family, and just switched her board. It would have been much more dramatic or weird if she had gone outside of the family (particularly if she had downgraded agencies). With a girl of that calibre though, you have to imagine they're smart enough to do what's in their best interest.

I look at the MCB move in two different ways:

First up, it's a bit unexpected. She's definitely an established model and she was, in my eyes, one of the top girls on the Women side of the board. If anything I would have expected her to go IMG or something. However, I also look at it as instead of having to be in the ocean, she moves to say, a lake or a large pond. She will get noticed a lot more in the Supreme package, even though there are some established girls there, because Supreme does have so many newbies. And technically, she's under the same umbrella.

Irina Denisova, as Bianca mentioned it earlier in this thread is now with Silent Paris, I know you're talking about NY but as left Viva in Paris and they work closely with DNA it's no big wonder that she left them too. Plus you might have noticed a few of the Silent girls (Anna Selezneva, Madisyn Ritland) don't have any agency in NY.

Don't know if it has been mentioned before on this thread but Jandra Dziaugyte is now with Next NY. She stills appears on IMG Paris mainboard but I'm not sure at all how things are going to be for her now that she's basically "between two different networks". I've no further info, though.

Even if I don't know the reasons why she's been dropped, I wouldn't call her a moneymaker at all. She was more an image-girl.

yeah, supreme has this crop of girls who seem to be way high fashion and do amazing on the runway but never actually book big money jobs often, then other girls who are always in a constant flow of income due to commercial-ee contracts.

Although Im guessing Amanda Laine made SOME money, in comparison to what others in that agency make, she wasnt their prime moneymaker. Did she even book a lot of campaigns or commercial jobs?
