Next scouts the money makers at other agencies then poaches some of them...so most of the girls were on the way up to begin with. Most of the time they develope them onto bigger and better things....but just like all agencies they can't make them all stars for various reasons. You always hear the success stories but there are hundreds of girls that have passed through their doors without achieving much besides ending up in debt to the agency.

who are you to say that? models go into every agency and leave in debt. have you seen IMG's new faces board and the 50+ girls they send out in their show package every season? 99% of them turn into nothing. at least next focuses on the girls that they bring in.

I don't think attacking IMG is the best way to show that Next is great (which is absolutely true on another, poaching girls or not, you'll always find successful girls there). IMG has more new faces because they are a big agency so instead of having 10 they have 50 etc. plus they show all the girls they sign in on their site and you'll find the same amount of girls that don't do anything in absolutely every agency. Some will hide them with a password on their site or just don't put them online till a certain moment...

Hmm that is interesting. Is that why there are so many girls signed with WOMEN worldwide, show up in Women milan, but never appear in NY's site. Women NY seems very particular about who gets to be on their website.

I try never to post anything on here unless I know for a fact that it's true. I never said that Next wasn't a great agency....I just stated the facts. The modeling industry is what it is....the good the bad and the ugly.

The problem is not of the percentage of girls who succeed in each agencies.
The disturbing thing, it is that when a an agency poach a girl from another agency, it is not in attractiong her in being sweet and cool it is usually in promising her things, that they perfectly know there are chances they will not be able to give...

So, i see a big difference between a new face who dont succeed in an agency who was the first to sign when she was was completly new, in just telling her "let's try", and another new face who dont succeed in an agency who poache her in telling "come here, with us u gonna make millions for sure , and take this 5000$ for u now to proove we believe in you"

In the firse case, it is just an "honnest" failure, in the second case...it is a failure plenty of promises not kept... clearly less honest for me.
