Models Switching Agencies

I wonder how much of this is the effect of bringing Louis B on board at Women. He has a history of burning bridges at all of his ex-employers, so I wouldn't be surprised that Rowland's departure from Women is a result of a power grab by Louis. He has a lot of girls who are very loyal to him so girls like Karen, Cameron, Agyness and Snejena will probably remain at Women. But other girls who were at Women long b4 Louis ever arrived -- Natasha, Vlada, Iselin -- it will be very interesting to see if they follow Paul.

As for Next having a harder time poaching girls from Ford now: If i were them, i'd be worried about Next girls bolting to Ford now. Rowland is a master poacher. Can't say I'd feel sorry for Next tho after what they've been doing recently.

Oh my what is happening with Women??? The next days will be interesting.

anyone know if the rumor that karoline, after being ousted from ford, is going to elite??

Yes, it seems that this is true. And I believe she will be bringing one or two other staff with her...

These next few weeks will be crazy and potentially crucial in redefining the nature of/competition within the biz.

i wonder what will happen to women's top girls like Isabeli, Anne V,Iselin and Poly will they bolt or stay on board a sinking ship?

ok so based on all the postings, this is what I've concluded (speculation only):

1. Paul Rowland is leaving Women/Supreme to head up Ford.

2. Mohammed, who heads up the Supreme Board with Paul, will be going to Ford too. Since these two are leaving, the future of Supreme lies in question.

3. Women will remain, under the leadership of Louis Chaban.

4. Women will be able to stay afloat financially, as long as Maria Cognata (head of Women Direct) remains on board, to keep this commercial board going.

5. Ford bookers (the ones that have been fired) will find homes in other low-grade agencies (Major, NYMM), and will have the potential to resuscitate and reinvent them.

Does this sound right?

So when Louis went to Women did he buy a stake in Women?Must be hard for paul to leave the agency that he build.

What exciting news!

I'm interested to see what will happen to the top girls at Women. Was Paul Rowland involved in booking for Women or did he just do Supreme?

'tis what i hear....It may or may not be true but this is what I was told.

I mean if you don't want people making assumptions why are we even talking about it when that's pretty much what everyone is doing since noting has been confirmed.

There hasn't actually been one girl dropped from Supreme due to this issue. Tbh i don't think this whole Supreme issue is actually that much of a deal, even if they close, of course pity, but nothing "groundbreaking". Supreme is a good agency no question, but rather responsible for girls that sort of disspeared after 2 seasons and some blue chip options, there are some exeptions though. No idea if this was on account of the bad scouting strategies or just the lack of long term managing mentality. Switching from edgy & extraordinary faces to rather plain faces with money grabber appeal (Addison, Ann Christin, Katharina, Theresa) within two seasons did quite show what the the main problem was :innocent: But I don't think they'll close Supreme.

^^I'm only speaking out against what is absolutely untrue at the moment in order to halt completely false rumors from running rampant (As in no final decisions have been made on dropping girls at this point...much less most of them) :flower: Everything else is speculative - up in the air.

Ali Stephens: Why Not -> Elite
Alessandra Ambrosio: d'management -> Elite

I wonder how they'll manage, considering they've always been a "personal" agency...and how will the partnership with other agencies add up?..hmm

Silent opening in NY was one of the rumors of the season in Paris... some said it was going to happen soon, some that it wasn't. I guess their website is giving us a reliable proof they did it.

Now if it's going to work, only time will tell. But I believe it's quite a smart idea, especially for a "personal agency" as you say. If they are able to work it out, it's great to push the concept as far as possible, with a very tiny and select roster. As for partnerships with others, I don't think it will be a problem, they've already managed Anna this way for a few seasons and now Othilia. It's just getting more official.

Then, I think there is more to come about Silent. In a positive way of course (otherwise I wouldn't write it )
