Models Switching Agencies

the re-organization at FORD has led to four boards that are labeled as follows:

1. FORD (this board has Chanel, Jacquelyn, Lakshmi, Charlene Almarvez (!), Chrishell Stubbs (!), Dafne, Rachel Clark, etc. This appears to be the most "prestigious" board.

2. WOMEN (this board has Barbara Berger, Camila Finn, Flavia, Crystal Renn, Hanne Gaby, Nataliya Gotsii, etc. This looks like a "second tier" board.

3. NEW FACES (typical new face on this board, but Charlene and Karlina (sotw winners) were plucked from this board and moved up to the "FORD" board...

4. FORD DIRECT (super commercial faces on this board)

not really sure what the difference is between the FORD board and the WOMEN board...

I do not understand that division at all

So Charlene, Chrishelle, Rachel Clark are in the upper tier, while Hanne Gabby is stuck in 2nd tier??

I'm sure things are still being finalised, it's not making any sense right now. Tao and red-hot Ming are under "Women" too, while Fabiana, Emily Senko (huh), and others somehow made it onto the "Ford" board.

^That's what I was going to write, it needs a little more time till things are really fixed and we don't even know yet if the boards will be all kept as separate entities and how it's going to look like after just a few more days. Plus, movements will keep going on, most likely.

Re: Maxine Schiff, her change from Next to Ford was planned before what happened between Ford/Supreme etc. last week.

all these is still a bit confused ..so many changes:D.. and why isnt chanel at ford 's board anymore??

Hanne is now on the main "Ford" Board which only comprises 29 girls..ooh, very selective indeed ;) I'm glad Charlene & Chrishelle are there too..and ofcourse tFS members Mariel Soehner & Sadie Newman (@ New Face board) :)

FWIW, I would like to see a democratization of the boards. I know some may consider it crass to boil things down to money, but that should be a key element to what board you are on. I don't have a problem with the model (and I am making up these facts) who has been featured in the major editions of Vogue four times in the last six months and even snagged a cover shot by Meisel or Demarchelier and also closed Dior being on the second tier board and the model who has regularly appeared in the Saks, Neiman Marcus or one of the other prestigious / high paying catalogs and has a contract with a jeweler being on the first tier board.

If the model who has regularly appeared in Vogue and walked for top designers cannot convert those opportunities into campaigns and contracts, then she should be on the second tier board.

Yup, i think after 2-3 years of being permanently in Vogue and on the runways it should be understandable that the girl wants to earn some money as long as she's expensive. When Vogue does not come out with one penny it's alright to do some high end commercial catalogue jobs and to make 8k a day. Somehow the model & agency need to pay the bills i guess. ^_^

 I'm either brain-dead, or missing key posts, but where is Chanel, still at Ford, but on a different board? What about everyone's fav workaholic, Jaquelyn?
I'm sure someone in-the-know will post a complete list for the outsiders looking in.:innocent:

^ Both are still with Ford under the division "Ford", you can turn a few packages back for the explanation regarding Ford's 4 divisions :) anyhow, another newbie switch, thanks to fadedcolours for the tip :flower:

Kel Markey: Supreme NY -> Ford

^ I believe it's the other way around.

Was my thoughts too but wasn't too sure... I think I've seen her before and could be on the Ford board a few times ago but again with all these moves, it becomes tricky to make sure

Supreme actually update their website then, even if it is minor

Sorry for the confusion you guys!

oops! thanks waffles :flower: Will Iris, Alana, Daiane & Rose stay @ Supreme?

Chrishelle Stubbs: Ford -> Supreme NY
Karolin Wolter: Supreme -> Ford NY
