Moschino Resort 2016

QUOTE=Phuel;13149095]^^^ Tacky, trashy, blinged-out sh*t styled as a high fashion concept may work in some instances for an editorial. But anyone paying thousands of dollars to actually put this on their body is is just plain dumb to me. There's no irony in anyone wearing such cheapness but paying a hefty premium: you're just a sucker. Because once you take away the Tumblr gimmicks all rehashed in Moschino logo-madness, the clothes are so painfully, standard-fare department store basics.

His Moschino logo bedazzled on eveything does sell to the 25 and under because they weren't around the first time everyone and their dog were wearing the Moschino belt and logo-tees in 1990, but the LOL pieces are never going to make it to any store, unless the buyer wants to be unemployed. And if you're over 30 and wearing this sh*t now, you deserve a beatdown by Willam Belli.[/QUOTE]
:lol::lol::lol: classic!

I really want to know what everyone is expecting to see for Moschino in 2015... I mean we really don't need another 'good taste', 'chic', 'minimal' brand around right? I think he is doing a fairly good job getting the buzz around and what sells eventually are the bags, iPhone covers and other accessories. I do think it's fun and funny.

I swear Moschino is getting uglier and tackier collection after collection.

what kind of woman wants to wear a big red SALE sign on her front?

and Chanel did those faux paper shopping bags way better

^^ This whole collection is such a Chanel ripoff. A lot looks like a ripoff from Chanel in the 90's

Lol to all the people bemoaning how out of touch this is. Clearly, if the preponderance of Moschino merch on the retail floors and on people is anything to go by, that isn't the case.

Besides, THIS IS WHAT SCOTT DOES. It's what he's always done. It's what he'll always do. If anyone was expecting subtlety, dry wit or anything resembling that then you set yourselves up with unrealistic expectations that would never be met. Taking it too seriously is to miss the point.

As high-end label this would look funny but as creative term I thought it's really fun. I admire his creativity to make high fashion so pop and so street almost tacky and I believe that is his intention.
