Moschino S/S 2017 : Gigi Hadid & Bella Hadid by Steven Meisel

they had so much to play with given the paper-doll dresses. this, instead, is just tacky and useless.

I like it, but with Gisele or Karlie this would be perfection!

I like it! I like the energy and the glamour. I mean, it's classic Meisel with a twist.
It's not the best campaign but it works.

This campaign really confirms what i said about the Hadids. They needs to be supported by someone like Meisel to deliver.

I got a headache when I read the tittle, but well, don't judge me, I think they look good. But it's shame that a photographer as Meisel is doing this, what's next? he photographing hailey baldwin for some cheap magazine/campaign? i'm just tired of them, they're overexposed.

I honestly love it. Although I'm not a huge fan of the concept, but at least it's something. (better than standing there in a white background)
The Hadids are perfect for ''glam'' themes, so it works. They both look stunning.

I love it, I think the fact that the Hadids have all that media attention adds something here. Great job
Just the first pic is kinda weird because of the photoshop on Gigi's face...

However, I'm wondering how this could look like with someone like Raquel...

I like the concept, the very basic idea. That's about all.

For one thing -- and I know this is kind of laughable to say about a photoshoot that's meticulously planned -- but this feels way too staged. Not in an over-exaggerated or super stylized way (think vintage Mert & Marcus) just in a...I don't know, I can see everyone trying very hard and acting very deliberately and it loses any impact it might've had. Had it been more raw feeling, more candid in nature, I might've liked it better.

Another thing I don't like is that the concept of the photos completely takes away from the humor of the clothing because you can barely see the paper doll details. It didn't have to be as obvious as "paper doll clothes = paper doll photos" but when you've got such visually captivating clothes you really ought to make them the focal point somehow.

Nice campaign, both sisters look great & this reminds me a bunch of old work of Meisel on VI.

Only Meisel can make a plain white background look this atmospheric and deep... still, I must agree with almost everyone here: this is weak. The paparazzi concept we've seen a trillion times before couldn't have been used in a more cliché way... and yes, we'll all know Moschino loves to push some bottoms playing with kitsch in it's most essential form: trying to bring ridiculous stuff like a powerpuff girl bag under fashion's magnifying glass, but here I'm missing the expensive part Meisel perfectly managed on S/S 16 making those cartoon-like dresses look relevant.

Here, the whole thing looks just as cheap as it did on the runway.

I love the concept and It's very well executed. It's just the models that bring it down.

these videos are great . i actually like this campaign now.

In motion, Gigi is miles ahead of Bella. She knows how to move, and it's unbelievable. Both look absolutely stunning tho.

The Hadid sisters bring it way down for me. They are just not very good models. For this sort of theme I would've cast Anna Cleveland and Hanne-Gaby Odiele instead.
