Please be so kind to take the time and answer these questions. I need movie recommendations, and lots of them. There are many topics on different movies, but this will be sort of a merge together! OK, the questions:

Crime: Pulp Fiction.

Chick Flick: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

"Vintage" Movie: My Fair Lady.

War: The Pianist.

Movie based on historical events: Schnidler's List

Animated film: Beauty and the Beast.

Action/Adventure: The Matrix (1st one!)

Mystery: FIGHT CLUB. :heart: Tied With Donnie Darko.



I know, I know..it's hard to categorize movies into one genre, since most of them fit into multi categories, but please try. :flower: Feel free to add other favourites if you wish!

Teen Comedy: Mean Girls!!!!

Thriller: The Crush.. I think that's classified as a thriller..

Horror: Well I have a feeling it will be 'Saw' when i go see it tomorrow...but I'd have to say the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre (I HATTTTE the old one.. the one i saw anyway) or...hmm can't think of any more right now...

Drama: Thirteen? Is that a drama? It's rated 18A or something like that so i don't think I could put it under chick flick.. also White Oleander.. and The Virgin Suicides.. What's Eating Gilbert Grape?

Chick Flick: Oh there are so many... A Walk To Remember.. Clueless.. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen... THE NOTEBOOK!!!!!!!!!!!! Raise Your Voice...

"Vintage" Movie: vintage eh? like 60's, 70's, 80's, what? Well I'll give a variety.. The Adventures of Babysitting, Fancy Face, Sixteen Candles (<3), It's a Wonderful Life.. hehe...

War Movie: I don't watch war movies.. usually

Movie based on historical event(s:( hmm maybe.. Pearl Harbour? Or Texas Chainsaw Massacre... Walking Tall

Animated film: Ice Age or Shrek or...can this be cartoons? Mulan, and just about any disney movie out there... Tarzan... everything..

Action/Adventure: hmmm...I don't normally watch action movies... but.. I guess like XXX or the fast and the furious....walking tall....

Fantasy: HP1 +2, Star Wars...is the princess bride fanatasy? well im puttin it in again anyways :D

Mystery: Identity? Is that a mystery?

War Movie: gone with the wind, cold mountain, harrison's flowers

Movie based on historical event(s:( rob roy, the pianist, affair of the necklace, chariots of fire

Animated film: beauty and the beast

Action/Adventure: matrix reloaded, star trek nemesis :smile:blush: I'm such a nerd!)

Fantasy: lotr trilogy, harry potter (I, II and III), edward scissorhands and the neverending story,

Mystery: lady of burlesque and dozens of other old films that I can't remember specific names of :wink:

Hmmm...i just came back here and realized I put "Fancy Face" instead of "Funny Face." Must be because I was looking at a Shawn and Belle fansite from Days Of Our Lives and they mentoned Fancy Face (sorry for all who have no idea what I'm talking about)... anway, lets just make it clear that i meant "Funny Face" with audrey hepburn... :flower:

Thriller: A Clockwork Orange isn't a thriller really but it has it's moments. But anyway I love it.

Horror: the Shining!

Drama: Eternal Sunshine isn't really drama either - but I'll stick it in here anyway. And Trainspotting.
