Please be so kind to take the time and answer these questions. I need movie recommendations, and lots of them. There are many topics on different movies, but this will be sort of a merge together! OK, the questions:

    What's your favourite...

    Comedy:

    Teen Comedy:

    Thriller:

    Horror:

    Drama:

    Chick Flick:

    "Vintage" Movie:

    War Movie:

    Movie based on historical event(s:(

    Animated film:

    Action/Adventure:

    Fantasy:

    Mystery:

    Mine:

    Comedy: Snatch.

Teen Comedy: 50 First Dates. :P

    Thriller: Se7en.

    Horror: The Exorcist. :ninja:

Drama: Not fully drama, multi category, but Big Fish. Tied with Trainspotting.

    Crime: Pulp Fiction.

Chick Flick: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

    "Vintage" Movie: My Fair Lady.

    War: The Pianist.

Movie based on historical events: Schnidler's List

Animated film: Beauty and the Beast.

    Action/Adventure: The Matrix (1st one!)

Mystery: FIGHT CLUB. Tied With Donnie Darko.

I know, I know..it's hard to categorize movies into one genre, since most of them fit into multi categories, but please try. :flower: Feel free to add other favourites if you wish!

We have some films in common. I'll do more than a few with your permission and I'll add a few categories:

    Most important/influential film:
    Dogville/Fight Club

    Documentary:
    Baraka/Winged Migration/Bowling for Columbine

    Comedy (Noir:(
Snatch, Pulp Fiction, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

    Teen Comedy:
    American Pie

    Thriller:
    Se7en (by far)

    Horror:
Glitter (the one with Maria Carey, but I didn't actually see it)

    Drama:
Dogville/Dancer in the Dark/Breaking the Waves (anything by Lars von Trier)
    What's Eating Gilbert Grape

    Chick Flick:
Sliding Doors, Amelie (but I personally don't think it's a chick flick)

    "Vintage" Movie:
    Clockwork Orange/Paths of Glory/Dr.Strangelove/ 8 1/2 /La Dolce Vita/Seven Samurai

    War Movie:
Full Metal Jacket/Apocalipse Now/All is Quiet on the Western Front/Saving Private Ryan

    Movie based on historical event(s:(
Braveheart (because I mentioned the others under the War Movie)

    Animated film:
    Spirited Away/Akira

    Action/Adventure:
    Natural Born Killers, Seven Samurai
Old Jackie Chan movies were amazing (the ones that never made it to the US)

    Fantasy:
    Matrix (1st)
    LOTR

Strange film that you didn't entirely get but thought was artful:
Lost Highway/Mullholand Drive (anything by Lynch, noone knows WTF goes on inside his head)

    Mystery:
The Russian version of the Sherlock Holmes series
    The Usual Suspects

Foreign (by that I mean non-US:(
    Blue/Red/White trilogy by Kislowski (sp?)

I'm sure there is more but they are not coming to mind now.

Hmmm...i just came back here and realized I put "Fancy Face" instead of "Funny Face." Must be because I was looking at a Shawn and Belle fansite from Days Of Our Lives and they mentoned Fancy Face (sorry for all who have no idea what I'm talking about)... anway, lets just make it clear that i meant "Funny Face" with audrey hepburn... :flower:
