I love the 'Shimmy' bag. I really like the shape and the colours. It would be an awesome bag for carrying everything in.

I have a question about the large bayswater - does anyone have it/tried it in the shop? and if so is it really huge - i looked at the regular one and can't remember much except thinking ooh thats quite small
now considering buying online and just wondered how they compare in your hands so to speak rather than just measurements - is the large very chunky/deep or too big for everyday?

help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

There's a Mulberry photo reference thread in the Purse Forum, that's where I saw a comparison pic of a large bayswater next to the regular one. It was slightly bigger yes, but didn't look huge or anything. You might want to check in there :)

the regular bayswater is actually not small. it's very functional. the large bayswater is a giant...seems more for travelling. i have the regular size, and i have five kids. it fits everything i could need and isn't bulky or cumbersome.

I have the large bayswater and I use it for everyday handbag..it is huge, but i love it anyway coz I'm a big bag fans..

This shimmy bag somehow reminds me of Givenchy Nightingale...They look like sisters...LOL

Hi, I'm a Mulberry newbie here. I really like the Maggie and the large poppy bag. Has anyone seen the Maggie east-west bag in white leather? Also, I've never been to Bicester, but I've heard there is an outlet there? Usually how much are the bags discounted there? Thanks a million!

Rachelle, the Mabel in electric blue IS gorgeous!

Yeah I've been eying the Mabel for a while now but I prefer it in brown/chocolate. I wouldn't be able to pull off the blue on a daily basis. I'm interested in the Maxi version as an overnight bag...but otherwise the large Mabel is a very nice day bag...now all I need to do is save up. ;-)

Does anyone know if Mulberry has biannual sales? Like in Jan/August? I live in NYC and I've been told a lot of these designer shops have sales up to 40% off....which would be amazing.

My Parents asked me what I want for my birthday and I said a Mulberry so yay! I'm thinking about a good old Bayswater but I'm torn between that and a Mabel. Oh decisions!

dumbfairy, I was in yr position before, i wanted a Bayswater or Mable. At the end i got myself the Mabel because I don't have many things to put in my bag. The Bayswater is a lil' too big for moi

ps: yr parents are lovely

I like the mabel in cognac, that's the one that's caught my eye so far. But I think I'll have to go into the store and try them for size before I pick ^_^ In an ideal world i'd ask for an Hermes but start small :buzz:

I have Mabel around 6 mths ago, and I still love it now! I own the Large Mabel, the leather is getting softer and the size is just nice for me to place all my stuff!

Hi All

I've seen this other woman (ME = Jealous!!!) with a mulbery bayswater and I want her bag!!! It's the nicest shade of bottle green with a shiney but not patent crock leather style finish!

Does anyone know when this bag was in season as I know it's not current... also if anyone knows where I can get one like this let me know... I'd give my right arm for it!!!

WSG

^I don't know the answer but there is a Mulberry store in Edinburgh where you could ask ;)
