Music that makes you cry

I don't know why, because it's sometimes so cheerful, but The Jayhawks music makes me feel in a sad mood and cry a bit.
 
oooh this thread is right up my alley. At the moment I am finding woncha come on home by Joan Armatrading really sad. It's not making me cry, but if I was in the right mood it would! I also find no name no 5 by elliott smith (the one with the lyric: don't get upset about it, no not anymore, there's nothing wrong that wasn't wrong before) quite devastating,

also that song by moby 'why does my heart feel so bad' makes me a bit upset..the video clip even more so. also 'let me sleep (next to the mirror)' and 'quiet crown' by idlewild because they have a quiet intensity about them. and coldplay also..there music fills me with so much hope (yes cheesy i know) and when i listen to it i just cry sometimes especially with 'don't panic' and 'in my place' because i can relate to them a bit

Accept certain inalienable truths: Prices will rise. Politicians will philander. You, too, will get old. And when you do, you'll fantasize that when you were young, prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders.
Respect your elders.
Don't expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund. Maybe you'll have a wealthy spouse. But you never know when either one might run out.
Don't mess too much with your hair or by the time you're 40 it will look 85.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
But trust me on the sunscreen.
