Music that makes you cry

The only song that makes me cry EVERY SINGLE TIME is Let It Loose by the Rolling Stones. This melody! Oh my good, I'd die for this song!
Another song that makes tears coming to my eyes most of the time is also a song by the Stones and its called Memory Motel.
And Keith Richard's Hate It When You Leave tears me up pretty much, too.

And an utterly depressing and sad song is Tom Wait's Tom Traubert's Blues (Waltzing Mathilda)! This song is SO beautiful (actually, I like Rod Stewart's version more, but anyway, both versions make me feel sad.)

Waltzing Matilda
Wasted and wounded
And it aint what the moon did
I got what I paid for now
See you tomorrow
Hey Frank can I borrow
A couple of bucks from you
To go waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
Youll go waltzing Matilda with me

Im an innocent victim
of a blinded alley
And Im tired of all these soldiers here
No-one speaks English
And everythings broken
And my strength is soaking away
To go waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
Youll go a waltzing Matilda with me

Now Ive lost my St. Christopher
Now that I kissed her
And the one-arm bandit knows
And the maverick Chinaman
with the cold-blooded sigh
And the girls down by the striptease shows go
Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
Youll go a waltzing Matilda with me

No I dont want your sympathy
Fugitives say
that the streets arent for dreaming now
Manslaughter dragnet
and the ghost that sells memories
Want a piece of the action anyhow
Go waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
Youll go waltzing Matilda with me

And its a battered old suitcase
in a hotel someplace
And a wound that would never heal
No prima donnas the perfume is on
and old shirt that is stained with blood and whiskey
And goodnight to the street-sweepers,
The night watchmen flame-keepers
And goodnight Matilda too
Goodnight Matilda too.

Let It Loose (Rolling Stones)
Who'ss that woman on your arm?
All dressed up to do you harm
And Im hip to what shell do,
give her just about a month or two.

Bit off more than I can chew
and I knew what it was leading to,
Some things, well, I cant refuse,
One of them, one of them the bedroom blues.

She delivers right on time,
I cant resist a corny line,
But take the shine right off you shoes,
Carryin, carryin the bedroom blues.
Oo...

In the bar you're getting drunk,
ain't in love, ain't in luck.
Hide the switch and shut the light,
let it all come down tonight.

Maybe your friends think Im just a stranger,
Some face you'll never see no more.

Let it all come down tonight.
Keep those tears hid out of sight,
let it loose, let it all come down.

He was a friend of mine - Willie Nelson
Cody - Mogwai

And it's probably a cliche but Knocking on heaven's door. Everytime I think of all those soldiers in Vietnam dying alone and longing for their mother, it just tears me to pieces.

Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley
Bridge over troubled water and Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel

and
I miss you by Aaliyah.. It was played at a funeral of someone in my highschool :( I was only 14 at that time, and it made a huge impression on me..

I rarely ever cry and I dont usually pay attention to lyrics but the ONE song I have a soft spot for is Flightless Bird, American Mouth by Iron & Wine.

Bjork's "I've Seen It All" makes me sad because I remember that scene in Dancer in the Dark.

Downtown by Tegan and Sara, it just makes me really nostalgic and to top it off, it's a sad song.

Cold Desert by Kings of Leon

Songs by A Fine Frenzy, particularly "Almost Lover" and "Ashes and Wine"

Antony and the Johnsons - Hope There's Someone

It's hauntingness is not easy to forget.

It's Cool, We Can Still Be Friends, by Bright Eyes.
For Lovers, by Wolfman featuring Peter Doherty.
Only Ones Who Know, by Arctic Monkeys.
