Speaking of, I was able to score some GREAT deals on N. hollywood at the massive I.T. 70-90% off sales in HK back in August :D

- Cheers

I like ti very much, cute and retro but cool.^_^

Does the N stand for north by any chance?

So this is the N. Hollywood I'm always hearing about?

Eh...it's alright. I could pick out some pieces to wear, but I don't care for the overall look.

Pricing points?

Don't get all the hype about it really..
Nothing original about the clothes and not in the same league as lad musician, saw it all in IT.

i think it's pretty nice...i often like a tighter fit rather than a really loose fit. some of it reminds me of star trek: the next generation for some reason

very mod...i like it. thanks buckwheat :)

This feels like an experiment in Dior Homme meets YSL gone horribly wrong...I don't like it, I think the color palette used is what bothers me most.

I like this collection, however when I was looking at my friends Japanese fashion mag I asked two girls in my class what they thought about the collection they both (seperately) stated it had a dorky/geeky vibe.

I see it more as mod and I happen to love the mod look so... :p

 indeed... I don't like it... Nothing to get excited about.

i like the yellow trousers XD
some of the outfits i like

but overall..i thought the style is too broad..or too everything..i cant tell what their signature style is
one outfit is like men in black..than you get this ceo on vacation kind of thing that reminds of micheal kors..than you see this geeky nerdy look which reminds me viktor & rolf

yes I think so too exactly Viktor& Rolf .. this geeky neerdy clothing .. not original but nothing like Dior ..this is terrible!!!!

by the way its N. Hoolywood not Hollywood

i thought it was N. Hoolywood too, but when i clicked the scan, the magazine says N. Hollywood?? i guess it's a typo??

Yes, it is N.Hoolywood, I remember reading about it.

Here, from JC Report e-magazine;

"the N is borrowed from North Hollywood, where designer Daisuke Obana, formerly a vintage buyer, has an office; Hoolywood is an amalgam of hooligan and Hollywood"

:)

really like the black suits with the cute ribbon
the bib front makes me think of "waiter" or butler :p

other than that, looks fresh with the mix of yellow and greys

the quality seems ok, from what i've seen in the second hand stores here. i've seen some interesting pieces from them- like a hoodie with blazer stylings (lined like a blazer, had the wool pieces under the collar, blazer breast pocket, etc.)
