shes gorgeous. I hope we see more of her. she reminds me of someone and i can't place who

To me she is a mix of Lily Mcmenamy,Luma Grothe,Sara Sampaio and Magda Laguinge.

Stunning and original. Love when you see a girl who just stands out from the crowd. Her features are so large and striking you can't help but pay attention. She almost gives me a Cordula Reyer vibe, but I can also see the comparisons to some of the other women mentioned upthread like Luma and Magda.

I don't know if I'm really too fond of her face but I just can't ignore, just can't not love her smile. It should make marvels in editorials, so photogenic and sincere.

Every week, Bazaar's booking team highlights one name to note, from the industry's best-known faces to girls who are just starting out. This week, we turn our attention to Nadia Soma.

Having been recently signed to internationally renowned agency IMG London (the agency who handles the careers of Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls, Lily Aldridge and Gisele to name a few), 18-year-old newcomer Nadia Soma is tipped for equally mighty modelling roles for 2016.

With her bright blue eyes, full pout and mega-watt smile, this Berlin beauty of Indian descent has captured the attention of fashion's leading players.

"Nadia's so elegant in the way she holds herself, particularly when doing runway – she owes it to years of ballet training," says Claire Dickens at IMG London. "She's also studying to be a doctor while modelling – beauty and brains."

The raven-haired newcomer's seal of approval has come by way of coveted show spots in Céline and Miu Miu's autumn/winter 16 presentations, guaranteeing her a lucrative and promising campaign and editorial season ahead. We talk to the trained ballerina about studying medicine, what to do in Berlin and running her own bakery.

How were you discovered?

"I'm a trained ballet dancer and I used to dance in a beautiful show palace in Berlin, Friedrichstadtpalast. When I was 16, I joined another class where the woman who scouted me, Maria, was dancing as well. She connected me to my agency in Berlin, Seeds, and then I was signed to IMG Worldwide."

If you weren't modelling, what career would you pursue and why?

"I started studying medicine this year. It's a completely different world compared to the model world but it has always interested and fascinated me."

What would you say has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

"Definitely my show launch this season – walking a Céline semi-exclusive and Miu Miu and having the chance to work with inspiring women like Phoebe Philo, Katie Grand and Miuccia Prada in person was an incredible experience for me."

How do you spend your free time?

"In my free time I love to bake, read or do something creative. When it has been a stressful week, I also enjoy sitting at home watching my favourite series on Netflix or cooking with my friends."

Do you have any travel tips for those visiting your hometown?

"I am from Berlin, Germany. Berlin is not the most beautiful city but it has this very special atmosphere. The people there are so eclectic and diverse and that is what makes Berlin different. Besides, there is a great nightlife and good, cheap food. If you ever visit, make sure to go to Zimt&Zucker, which is located in central Berlin next to the Spree."

What are the three products you can't live without?

"There is only one thing I couldn't live without: my lip balm from Weleda."

What is your favourite form of exercise?

"I do ballet, which I love because afterwards I always feel a lot more flexible and much stronger. If I don't have much time, I take online YouTube yoga lessons, which are quite cool – I'd definitely recommend."

What's your dream shoot?

"I would love to shoot with Peter Lindbergh one day. And I hope to shoot over the summer in a forest one time, where you can listen to the birds while working."

Name the five essential items you wouldn't leave the house without…

"Keys, a metro ticket, my mobile phone, my purse and most importantly: a bottle of water."

If you had to wear only one designer, who would it be?

"I love wearing Sandro."

What advice would you give to new girls to the industry?

"That you should never stop trying because sometimes all you need is a little patience."

Is there a model's career that you admire and why?

"Toni Garrn's. I admire her initiative to speak up for girls and women in need, and how she is involved in charity work in general. Combining this and a career is something very impressive. And also Karlie Kloss because she created her own cookies (I would really love to run a small bakery)!"

Let's talk about favourites. What about…

…music? "I listen to everything that makes me happy and I can dance to."

…movies? "I am in love with Inception."

…books? "I will never be too old for the magic of Harry Potter."

…food? "I really love everything besides fish. Indian, Italian, Japanese… just everything. And don't forget about sweets and cakes and all these beautiful, delicious French pastries. I really could write a book about how much I love them."
