Rumor is Next decided to skip NY due to lack of options. I thought Joe Mckenna would have taken her for Victoria Beckham or Boss but guess not. She hasnt shown up in London. Lets see if she pops up in Milan.

Next has a few new asian/eurasian girls on their lists that's making some impact, so Yuan better pop up somewhere or she'll be overshadowed by the newbies. Fashion is fleeting.

Thanks for that fashiont914, if it's true. Then again, that means it's likely due to her hair and NEXT/Yuan wasn't willing to change/go back to her original state? Sucks! If this theory is true. But why not? I mean, she's still that same girl that they booked her last season.

Anyway just gonna stop because this isn't helping at all. But I get why they wouldn't want to book her.


Hope to see her at least in Paris then.

HI Prymasquous, I think its clear now that the rumors are true. its more than just the hair. It was a combination of factors from hair (I doubt Next would NOT have changed her back if they thought it would help but based on their requests/options, decided it wouldnt be), casting directors/stylist really not into her this season as much as before, the increased competition from the girls, and other reasons. Its rarely ever as simple as they all lost interest in a girl for no reason. Big picture is there probably a lot going on behind the scenes where girl's situations/circumstances change season to season.
Look who they were booking for shows she lost in NY. The bookings for the big shows were pretty spread out this season and the competition is tremendous now.

I think its always been the case. Asian models compete against Asian models and its usually straightforward to see after the fact. Sora comes to mind just last season. Top 10 newcommer then she couldnt get a show. Both had different circumstances but outcome was the same. However, she came back with a vengeance this season. Things can change drastically season to season.

Haha, I know it's not unheard of and applies to non-Asians too, but whoa. Will have to soak this in for Yuan just like how we all did for Sora. Jeez...
