Nastya Kusakina is the super sweet 16-year-old, platinum blonde ice queen of the catwalk. With hair as pale as her flawless skin and gleaming green eyes, Nastya was one of the standout girls of the SS13 runways and her glowing locks swished through the crowds of LBD’s, hazard oranges and glitzy prints. She’s lined up backstage at Givenchy, Lanvin, Armani, Dior, Dries Van Noten, McQueen and Louis Vuitton, and at 5’11’, and only halfway through her teens, she’s the freshest, prettiest face on our radar. Hailing from the land of snow and beautiful people, Nastya comes from Penza in Russia, the country that gave us Natalia Vodianova, Sasha Pivovarova and Natasha Poly, and she’s all set to take 2013 by storm. We talk sunscreen, hair dye and One Direction with the Russian beauty.

How were you scouted? I went into an agency with a friend of mine and they signed me right away.

What was it like growing up in Russia? I had a great childhood and grew up in a very relaxing, beautiful area.

Which show was the most fun to walk in this season? Louis Vuitton because of the amazing set!

Are you a girl’s girl or a tomboy? I like to mix both styles together.

What’s the best thing about being young today? We have so much opportunity at this age growing up as the next generation.

What’s your beauty secret? I moisturise with SPF sunscreen all the time to protect myself from the sun. I also like to drink hot tea with honey.

Would you ever dye your hair and if so what colour? Yes, my hair is currently dyed platinum blonde.

What are your three rules to live by? Never complain, never explain, and never say never

What’s the last track you played on your iPod? What makes you beautiful – One Direction.

If you could work with any photographer, past or present, who would it be? Richard Avedon.
