This is better-ish; I still have plenty of hope for Natalia! ;)

Her face is just uncanny.

I'll excuse myself for being such a pedant in advance, but I've noticed you've used the word "uncanny" to describe a few of the models' faces, and I was wondering what exactly you mean?

It seems to be an odd use of the word, especially if you are intending it to convey positive connotations ...

Uncanny means "strange or mysterious, especially in an unsettling way", according to my Dashboard dictionary and "weird or mysterious" according to Collins.

Sorry to be such a bore, I'm just curious.

Thanks :flower:

^I've always used it in a more positive connotation as it's other (and primary) definition is:

"having or seeming to have a supernatural or inexplicable basis; beyond the ordinary or normal; extraordinary"
(dictionary.com)

I suppose that there are more positive than negative uses for the word uncanny, but for me it has almost always been used to project an extraordinary condition. I'm been familiar with the less encouraging connotations, but I assumed those were much less commonly associated with the word. Besides, there's nothing wrong with me about "weird or mysterious" faces. ;)

Thanks. Yes, I see your point entirely. I suppose for me I've always associated it primarily with a negative connotation. It's interesting how words can have subtle differences of meaning to different people. (Or perhaps it's the difference between American English and Australian/British English?)

Either way, I'd be the last one to condemn "weird or mysterious" faces.

So; uncanny, it is! ^_^:flower:

Talk about a perfect combination of model and brand aesthetics...

I'm really kind of excited for Natalia, if you can't tell... ;)

Well, you're certainly not alone! I wasn't entirely convinced by Natalia's old polas/tests, but she has grown into a real favorite. Just perfect at Chloé
