New Trend?

I spotted a pair of boots in a mail order catalogue and immediately fell in love with them.I have aslo been spotting similar styles cropping up in stores recently, could this be the new trend for boots this season along with the thigh high-over the knee boots? I had to travel 2 hours to another store to get hold of the last pair in my size, as everywhere else had run out even the mail order people. What do you think?

probably just me but i can't see the turndown that well

Turndown seems to be up and coming trend ( mcqueen did them last season). I like them, i almost bought a piar of pirate boots with turndowns.
