New York city shoe repairs

Hi does anyone from New York city know of any good shoe places that can add on pieces of rubber onto the sole of your shoes so that the sole doesnt get worn out. I just bought a pair of repettos and ther eis no way that I can wear them on the streets before they get ruined in a matter of days. Thanks

There's this place on west 33rd that is good... there is also a place down on Christopher st. that is also good... I don't remember their names or exact addresses.

John's Shoe repair is good. It's on Irving Pl., between 15th and 16th I believe.

Shoe service plus is very good, as is Angelo's. Whereever you go make sure they use a quality sole like Vibram, etc...
