I wonder why he's always showing ahead of the officiel schedule instead of just closing fashion week, how does that benefit him lol.

It's probably because of he's doing the see-now, buy-now thing like Jacquemus. I personally think that the shows would probably be more impactful if they held the opening or closing spot of NYFW.

His runway collections are only sold at Bergdorf. It’s literally the only retailer so, the impact is just for pure marketing.
In terms of tangible impact and importance for NYFW, his brand is not there.
He is not that huge advertiser a la Ralph Lauren who will gather all the press and international buyers don’t come so it’s actually clever to close with MK and Thom Browne even though all those people will have a showroom in Paris.

I also believe that showing outside of the calendar is just more convenient for Marc. He has his space, the show is done and he is free to go to whatever city he wants to attend a show lol.

as far as I know Ralph Lauren hasn’t announced any plans to show off schedule. Only Marc Jacobs has
