I don't know about Fendi (they are just doing a special event, btw, the main collection will show in Milan as per usual), but for Marni it's a fitting choice: NY is the right place for that kind of pretentious, non-designed, politically charged s**t.
For me, though, the problem again is the absence of Marc Jacobs: without him, NYFW is a non-event.
