Interview with Nick in Norwegian: http://smug.no/post.aspx?ID=6904

Google translate:
Not that we are so concerned with supermodels, but when there is talk of a so thoroughly nice guy that British Nick Rea, with the same pleasant music preferences, so it feels natural to invite the man to play the discs on the launch party tonight.

You could barely open an iD or like the last couple of years without seeing Nick on one side, either in some fancy advertising campaign, or as a model for fashion Editorials. Or simply on the cover. The guy working mostly from Milan, but wanted to take a trip to Oslo on the occasion magazine launch.

We took a quick chat with the man who also goes by the name Slim Jim.

What are you doing at the moment - fashion / model-wise that is ...
- I do many things right now. Next week I have a shoot in Numero Homme in Paris, and I've just done some campaigns and short videos produced by Gucci. I also try to take as many photos as I can. Build me a personal archive of things I like and even as I plan to use someday. And so I design my own stuff and Customizer my own clothes in fun, while I wait for the fashion week in Paris, Milan and New York to begin.

Where are you most of the time?
- The last 18 months I have mainly lived in Milan, but has traveled constantly between Milan and Rome for. work. But in addition to float around in Europe I tried to go back to the North of England every other month to my local breathing air.

Been in Norway before?
- Never, but I feel a deep longing. Perhaps because of the Vikings who once came to England, haha.

Expectations?
- The trip to Oslo is another chance to see and taste something different. I'm trying to pick up things from different types I meet, and check out how young people enjoying themselves. I'm curious to taste the salmon and buy some paper clips.

You play with Mecury from Switzerland, you knew them from before?
- I am curious to play with Mercury, even though I had not heard them before. I know they have a certain amount of hype around it, and I guess it will be fun and just good music.

Ok, what can the Oslo expect of you? Musically? Personally?
- No idea! Maybe something refreshing? I guess my expectations for the Norwegians are much higher than what you have for me.
