Bringing her unique look to the forefront, Nicki Minaj adorns the front page of the May 2011 issue of Elle magazine.
Set to hit newsstands on April 12, the "Right Thru Me" singer posed in an array of sexy ensembles for a spread shot by photographer Terry Tsiolis.


Talking with the mag about topics such as her new song with Ludacris and desire to be a superhero, highlights from Miss Minaj's Elle interview are as follows:
On her collaborative effort with Ludacris: “ chose to do punch lines and be comical, to show how bad I am lyrically, as opposed to how sexy I think I am.”
On her desire to be a lead character in life: “I always wanted to play with the boys. I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character—a superhero.”
On her fashionable nature: “I tend to like booties…[pause]”—she takes a beat to clarify: no sexual meaning implied—“and really flashy shoes: totally studded out, in five colors with an insane platform.”
