Why does this picture look so weird to me?

It looks like her but something is weird, he hair looks so eighties...

I love the one of her holding Ari and the second one is so different from most of the photos I've see of Nico. I wonder how old she is there?

I didn't know that either. I have check the link and in french is written: *Edith Boulogne explain her story about Ari.*
This is a poignant part from Nico Icon, makes you really dislike Alain Delon...
 
Babydoll?Are you sure that's her in that top photo?It IS so eighties.I don't like the hair.That is the weirdest picture I've ever seen of her.
Great photos,I LOVE the one with Lou and Nico so much and the one in color of yellow- blonde Nico and Ari has always stained my heart-an absolute favorite.Thank You for posting all of these.
 
I have noe idea if it is her or not but on ebay it said it was her. It is a very weird picture! It looks like her but something it off...

Thanks for all the screen caps! She's so tan in the color one with Ari. Delon's mother shows so many pictures of Nico but it's hard to make a screen cap because there all just pictures she's holding up.

I wonder how old she is in that picture as well. She had dark hair when she first started modeling but it was REALLY short. It's the hair style she had in Strip-tease but her hairs dark...strange! She does look young in it though.
 
In that colored photo of Nico and Ari[the screen cap],what shade of lipstick would you call that?Is it nude?gold?I like how it looks dewy and so pale against her dark skin.She was such a looker and it's so funny that she just grew to resent it!!!!

I could not agree more! Being SO beautifull and resenting it. Near the end of her life she would say that she was proud of her graying hair, weight gain and rotten teeth... How can it be ???? But Nico was a true original, very different from everyone. She was one of a kind - One in a million I'd say. We have to give her a lot of credit for that.

I don't think any other person in the public eye has EVER been anything like Nico.She is one in a million.......and I do respect that.
 
It's hard to say the color of her lipstick, it looks like it's nude. I think it's the lighting that makes it look gold.

I think that Nico felt because she was beautiful no one really listened to her, they just wanted to be with her because she was so beautiful. I think that she wanted to be ugly so that she knew everyone liked her because of her music and her thoughts. She probably grew to hate beauty from being in an industry that's so obsessed with it and wanted to be a musician (like the boys). There's that Iggy quote where he says Nico fsaid she hung out with the guys because she wanted to do it hersel, but what she came up with was entirely unique.
 
I was able to get a couple of those Herve Gloaguen pics of Nico in a higher resolution. Also, I added a few new ones of Nico and Brian Jones at the Monterey Pop Festival, as well as one of Andy and Ari and Nico's legs.
