I believe that the magazine rebranded to Ella with the second issue, or was relaunched a couple of months later as Ella. Her 25 November 1965 cover of Elle France was also reprinted for Ella.

36 French ELLE covers in this thread, surely that's a top 5 record? I've read that she had 58 in total, but I'm unsure if that includes international covers like Spanish Elle, seen above.

Aside from Marisa, I don't think those id's are right? I own this issue and the model on the fold out is definitely not Nicole, I'm pretty sure it's Birgit Larsen in a bad wig. No idea who the model in the middle is.

Now that I see the comparison, it does like like Birgit in a bad wig, I'll try and find the source of the image to see if I read it wrong because I don't think I identified her for that one.

Nicole confuses me a lot because her face can become very different with the makeup used.

Oh for sure, she really changed her face with makeup. I'm pretty sure the model on the fold out is Birgit. I might take this issue out of storage, lol, but I know Nicole is in the issue.

I found a tumblr account with some shots of the inside editorial and one shot "credits" the models in the editorials and mentions a Christine, who I think could be Christine Simonet.

I think Nicole was on the gatefold of a few fold-out covers, which could be why her cover count isn't adding up.

To add on to my previous post, it seems de Lamargé did a lot of work for Lui in its early years. Never fully nude from what I can find, at most a scantily clad slightly see-through dress or two.
