Never believed Nicole Miller was ever a trend setting designer or even a designer who cared about trends, but she's a bit late on the tribal affair by a few seasons. My problem with the collection is mainly the direction of it. Starting with mini black cocktail dresses like many other designers are doing this season, and then immediately throwing us with distressed flat cowboy boots and the most literal tribal trends of all: native american prints and the color brown. I'm pretty sure the Mary-Kates and Ashleys of the world will be all over those horrendous flat cowboy boots.
