thanks a lot brian for the link. And I agree-they actually do look like timbs--overall very crunchy looking. it is an interesting concept to turn the stitchings inside out...although i'm not too sure about the end result...i'm not sure how "sellable" this will turn out to be...just because you're an earth friendly product doesn't mean you can make ugly looking shoes.
 
i like how they placed it on fake greenery..it makes the shoe look like big foot...

The Ovolo heel is suspended like a hammock by a continuous S-shaped curve that stretches from mid-foot and wraps up around the back of the heel. This external structure counter-controls the foot and stabilizes it without compromising freedom of movement. It literally ‘hugs’ the heel and provides the wearer with a custom fit.
