I never actually followed fashion in the 90s (well, I did, but red carpet: not editorials) but I always loved reading stories about her. She has aged beautifully!

Niki Taylor Welcomes Son Rex Harrison

It’s a boy for Niki Taylor and Burney Lamar! The model, 36, and her husband, a former NASCAR driver Burney Lamar, welcomed son Rex Harrison on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 11:03 a.m.
Weighing in at 7 lbs., 5 oz., and is 19 inches long, baby boy joins sister Ciel, 2½, and twin brothers Jake and Hunter, 16.
Taylor and Lamar, 31 — who wed in December 2006 — announced they were expecting in May. The model blogged her pregnancy for PEOPLE.com — check out her entries here.

Oh my goodness, a new title: Mother of four. What?! Who, me? Are you serious?!
It’s always that moment as a mom when you think to yourself, “Okay, I have four kids — now what? And who is going to help me figure this all out?”
How do you wrap your head around the fact that God gives you these kids and then sends you on your way home? Where is the instruction book? Where is the help?
I always laugh a bit to myself upon the exit from the hospital as I contemplate that they really just let you walk out with this tiny peanut. Frightening at times!

Bringing Rex home was definitely an adventure, especially with a 2½-year-old big sister who is not used to seeing her doll babies move. Burney and I got quite the laugh when Ciel squealed, “It moved, it moved!” — the “it” would be baby Rex.
We received lots of questions and comments about his name — Rex Harrison Lamar — and I hate to disappoint, but Burney and I just happened to be the second set of parents that liked the two together as a name! So no, he was not named after the actor.

Big brothers Jake and Hunter have already jumped in to help with baby duties and feedings. Hunter is a feeding master and Mom is grateful for the helping hands!
Last week, Grandma and Grandpa Taylor landed in Tennessee for the Thanksgiving holiday, so the house is full of family, love and new life. Not to mention a full pantry, butter, baked goods and a serious calorie run…
Note to self — detox is on my agenda very soon. So good getting it down, so hard getting it off! Thanks Mom!

More seriously, pregnancy and delivery could not have been a bigger blessing. If you are pregnant I highly recommend the Baby Plus system. I am not a paid spokesperson for this product so this is straight from my mommy beliefs.
I just saw such a difference in using it my last two pregnancies, in the baby’s sleeping patterns and their little alertness cycles and I guess I want to give credit where credit is due. I am not a scientist but I really believe in these devices.

If 10 years ago anyone would have told me that today I would be married to the man of my dreams and mothering two more additions to Jake and Hunter, I probably would have laughed. It is amazing that God really does have good plans and I see that in my family, in my marriage and in my children.
What more could a woman want than these things? I am honestly content and blessed beyond words.
I am sorry that my blog time with you all is coming to an end, but I have enjoyed writing to you and talking about Taco Bell, family and raising kids.

Niki Taylor - Niki Taylor To Host New Talk Show

Supermodel Niki Taylor is to host a new U.S. Tv talk show about the everyday issues facing modern women.
The busy new mum will front Having It All, a series set to cover topics ranging from health and fitness to beauty and fashion.
The programme, which will premiere in March (12) on America's WE tv network, will also feature tips and advice from industry experts in a bid to help women balance a career with their duties at home.
This isn't Taylor's first foray into Tv - she previously co-hosted MTv's Fashionably Loud in 2005 and earlier this year (11) she appeared as a contestant on Donald Trump's The Celebrity Apprentice.

Red Carpet Confidential: Niki Taylor Urges Pregnant Jessica Simpson to ‘Go Natural’

Now that married mom of four Niki Taylor is gearing up for the March of Dimes March for Babies taking place Saturday in Miami, babies are on the brain.

One baby we can’t stop thinking about is Jessica Simpson’s little one, who is set to arrive at any moment.

What advice would she give the Fashion Star mentor?

“I would encourage her to try to have the baby natural — that’s what I did with my kids,” the former supermodel, 37, tells me today while promoting the March of Dimes March for Babies. “Try without the epidural [laughs].”

The Having It All star would know: She is mom to twins Jake and Hunter, 17, whose dad is ex Matt Martinez, and Ciel, 3, and Rex, five months, whose dad is Burney Lamar.

Why is it best without the anesthetic?

“I think because your recovery is better," she explains. “For myself, I did epidural for my boys, and it took me so long to get out of this fog, because it messes with your spinal fluid and it goes right in your back. For myself, I felt like I was in this fog, and it took forever for me to get out of. I couldn’t feel what I was pushing, and for my boys, it was 28 hours, I think I was in labor, and I couldn’t feel anything anymore.”

She continues, “With Ciel and with Rex, I said 'no epidural.' I recovered, I was walking right after I had them, just did a lot of praying all through my pregnancy that they would be healthy and my deliveries would go without a problem. I was really blessed.”

Niki wishes Jessica all the best with her bundle of joy.

“I know she’s going to be an awesome mommy,” she says.

Niki supports the March of Dimes March for Babies, which helps raise awareness and funds for stronger, healthier babies. Catch her on her reality show, Having It All, which airs Saturday at 8:30 a.m. ET on WeTV.
