I was confused for a moment 
I've seen pictures with her and Sage from last year - every time she is out with Rob, Sage comes along too. I even saw Sage in a pap video with Rob at Chateau Marmont - I thought she was his girlfriend at first. I don't think Nikki is dressing like Kristen here. Now that she is not in Vancouver - the twilight sightings are less reported so you have to wonder. And Laney does kiss her *** and absolutely despises Camilla Belle (who she says is a famewhore).

^yeah, i really believe nikki (or someone very close to her) was laineys "source". she mostly reported about things when nikki was around or what goes on between rob and nikki (where they were, when they left, what they did), but never what was up with ashley or jackson(or any of the other cast members), especially because most people want them to happen and then there was that guy from LOST with ashley... way more interesting that the friends-with-benefits between rob and nikki, yet she didn't know what was going on. and she hates fame-whores, yet the obvious fw nikki is her girl-crush

Yeah, I agree with everyone who has noted that Nikki has totally copied Kristen's style. And it doesn't work on her, because it's not her style.
She needs to realize that. I like the way Kristen dresses for her because it suits her, but I would never wear what she wears. And neither should Nikki because Kristen's style doesn't suit her body type and is very obviously contrived, which is why I don't think she ever looks good.

Woah. That article is very eye-opening about Nikki. I think she is very easily influenced, manipulative, and always needs attention. Urgh, sorry, but that is what I got from the article. Although how old was she when it was written? 15, I think.

yeah she was 15. she did seem pretty attention-seeking, and the fact that she cried twice during the interview shows either that she was always a bit of an actress or that she was going through an emotional time? i think it does sound like she had a hard time at school, although i haven't actually seen thirteen. on the other hand i think she has grown up a lot since then and i doubt that she's a source for lainey gossip, i mean come on, that would be totally pathetic.. and i want to give her the benefit of the doubt cos i think she seems like an interesting, bright and gorgeous girl from other more recent interviews with her.
kristen's always wears skinny jeans & skinny jeans really do not suit nikki's legs.. especially with the nike boots/runners that they are both always wearing. i hope nikki's style gets better & less like kristen's! still.. skinny jeans & nike runners is hardly a "style"!!

Yes, unlike people like Kristen, Nikki wears prescription glasses. She normally wears contacts though, and only wears glasses if her eyes are tired/sore - you know how it is with contacts.

Just to set some facts straight: Nikki was indeed going through a hard time at that age.
She moved out of her parents' house at 14 and emancipated herself. Thirteen didn't help the already tense relationships with her parents, as they are not portrayed that flattering in the movie - Thirteen's mom is an alcoholic and the dad mostly absent. They were not at all happy at their personal issues being portrayed in public like that (there was some criticism at Catherine's address over this too, some feel she almost used Nikki's story and didn't help her properly talk it through with her parents). But everything has been patched up again now though.
After Thirteen, she'd initially gone back to high school, but was so teased and bullied by other kids and very much also by other kids' parents, that she dropped out and continued studying on her own. I always got the impression she was pretty lonely at that age. I think the interview just shows her at a phase in her life when she was pretty vulnerable, and far too open with everyone around her.
