I hope they didn't fire her. I really like her by now and I really hate when they switch actor for a character.

I don't think she was fired. But it was fishy that she specifically told the media she was going to Italy just to hang out with her friends and watch filming because those are her favorite scenes from New Moon. Then, she says she's not going because she wants to spend time with family, which is suspicious because she's not close to her family at all (read the articles from her Thirteen days). And now, for her to be in LA and not go to the MTV Movie Awards when so many Twilight cast members were there... especially when it was obvious that Twilight would sweep the awards.

yeah, i can't imagine her being fired, what would that do to her reputation? she already lost credibility in couple of things (beginning with trip to africa to italy).

Nikki was not fired from Twilight - that's just a silly rumor. She has a 3-movie contract just like everyone else and will be returning to the set to shoot Eclipse in August.
