I don't think she was fired. But it was fishy that she specifically told the media she was going to Italy just to hang out with her friends and watch filming because those are her favorite scenes from New Moon. Then, she says she's not going because she wants to spend time with family, which is suspicious because she's not close to her family at all (read the articles from her Thirteen days). And now, for her to be in LA and not go to the MTV Movie Awards when so many Twilight cast members were there... especially when it was obvious that Twilight would sweep the awards.

Again - I must correct a few facts.

1. Nikki is NOT in LA at the moment. That's why she didn't attend the awards, she wasn't in town.

2. Her Thirteen days are long behind her, and she's actually pretty close with her family now. She spends a lot of time with her brothers especially and her reason for not going is just that. She has a busy schedule with not a lot of free time - and the Italy filming time was a small gap in her schedule. She choose to spend that bit of free time with her family instead of jetting off to Italy where she wasn't really needed.

3. The script for Breaking Dawn has only been optioned, it's not officially in the works yet, and no one has officially signed for it as far as we know. Some cast members, like Rob, have verbally stated they're doing it, but no official contracts yet.

Also, dajrekshn, how do you mean she lost credibility with a trip to Africa?

as for the Africa, didn't she say how she was in africa with MA and KS and as time passed by seemed to say different stories that didn't fit with her previous sayings or something like that meaning she wasn't traveling with them?

Um no. The three of them went on that trip together and traveled together the whole time.

i'm following a makeup artist on twitter, she confirmed she signed for eclipse and BD contracts while being in Montepulciano.

dajrekshn - are you referring to that makeup-artist girly who was outted as a fraud recently? There was someone on Twitter pretending to be a makeup artist for the Twilight movies and making claims like the one you describe, and she's been irrefutably proved to be just another faker on Twitter via IMDB. Would be a bit too much of a coincidence if this was another makeup artist on Twitter....I bet it's the same one. Be careful with Twitter and what you read there, a lot of it is BS, unfortunately (just look at all the people claiming to be Nikki! All fake!).

nope, a regular, older woman whose currently in italy visiting her granparents, lives in UK. i don't know to what girl you're referring to. the only inside thing she said was regarding that contract which they allowed her to say since after the meeting was held where she signed the contracts. twi-hard bombed her on commenting robsten - she didn't want it. she wasn't even allowed to say if cast members left (ash for example). so...she's pretty legit...

There was someone on Twitter recently who, like I said, was claiming to be a Twilight makeup artist. She too claimed Chris the director had cleared her to say certain things after meetings and that she was allowed to say what contracts had been signed. She then twittered to say she was in Italy, working on Mike -> Michael Sheen. The actual Michael Sheen actually has a Twitter account, and he was in LA when she wrote that. Michael as in Kristen's boyfriend wasn't in Italy either, and there is basically no other Mike she possibly could have been doing makeup for on a Twilight set.

That's all I know - don't know if it's the same person you're talking about, the similarities are just a little disconcerting!

Just to follow up on this for anyone else reading along, we compared Twitter usernames etc in PMs, and they're the same person - just under a new username. So definitely a fake, 100% sure, all that talk about BD contracts by this person on Twitter was made up.
