WOW that is an incredible picture, I've never seen it before! I can't believe how much unseen Nina is out there...in fact, there is a pretty damn stunning editorial with her on eBay right now. I'm going to try my best to win that & it would be amazing to scan some photos in for this thread.

I really am blown away by this picture! Thank you sooo very much!!!

^ Those are so great!! I'm jealous! ^_^

She worked a lot with Michelle Behennah! It's weird.

Jealous! I have one magazine with her! Haha! Compared to what you must have I don't think you should be the jealous one!

I have noticed that aswell actually, it is pretty weird how much work they did together! I wonder why they were paired so often together...there's nothing that particulary stands out with them as an item....hmmmmmm

And everyone is really welcome! The scans aren't perfect I was rushing...wish I had more to share!

I just read that Nina's film (Hollywood Salome) has had its name changed to Johnny 316 and the rights to it have been bought, which means they want to release it for sale in the fall of 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is just the best news considering they took the online watchable version off of iFilm.

Here's a look at the trailer and some more info http://www.john316themovie.com/

Oh, wow - that's such exciting news!!! A dream come true, really. Have you seen it? Nina's absolutely exquisite in it, and the movie is really surreal in a way that works for me.

Ditto ditto ditto...........I have been trying to get this film for years...I mean, every possible way I could.....this is definately a dream come true!

I have seen it, I saw it when it was up on iFilm and I fell in LOVE with it! It haunted me completely.......I LOVE the play it's based upon which just made it even more incredible for me. I love Vincent Gallo, another bonus, I love the cinematography, the script, everything else about the film too. And you're so right on...Nina is just....breathtaking and touching...and utterly exquisite in it! Yes, you're right! The surreal quality was perfection. I love this film. It brings back great nostalgia...I'm so excited about this news, I've been waiting for a breakthrough for years!

I must say though, I loved the original title, much more fitting...don't know why they felt the need to change it.........

Yeah, the name change is weird. I'm a little embarrassed to say it took me a second to get the reference. It seems like they're trying to present this as something new! It's a bit weird, though i suppose Vincent is a bit more famous now than he was then, so maybe they have that going for them.

I agree with all you said too - it fully exceeded my expectations.

Thanks for the news! It's made my day. I'm not sure i would've known about this otherwise - especially with the name change!
