No.21 F/W 2023.24 Milan

The spirit of Tippi Hedren by Hitchcock dressed by the most casual side of Jean Colonna, Miu Miu and Ann D endures. Just such convincing disheveled glamour. Some of the styling is a tad too desperate with the slips, but when it’s reigned in— with the black silhouettes ( all the to die for pencil skirts...), it’s so simple and still so stunning. Wished there were more furry coats to keep the drama going, and The Birds at bay...

At least the references are always clear here

Gimmicks aside, it’s a good collection at its core. The Prada-isms work for most part because they’re the kind we miss at Prada as it’s looking a little too clinical at the moment.

Next season they need to rethink the styling a bit and figure out a different way of doing the dishevelled look. As good as this is, it does cause a chunk of this to err on the side of parody so does put bit of a barrier up making it hard to fully appreciate.

Not my taste but its its a classy collection , better than 95% of sh!t at NY an London fashion week. Milan is still putting out far superior collections no doubt on that
