NOORIA is a label that is creeping into the fashion conscious by quenching the need for something affordable and a little different in this era of high fashion prices and high street copycats. Hand-embroidered waistbands on light-as-air chiffon skirts, origami detailing on Marilyn Monroe halter dresses and sexy silk chiffon corsets all quietly demand attention - they're the sort of clothes you'll be stopped in the street for by women wanting to know where they came from. Designed by a stylish threesome, Emily Croft-Baker, Jane Halsall and Pooja Luthra, simply because they love clothes, each collection is painstakingly thought through. "With every piece we say to ourselves, 'Would I just scream to buy that?'" says Emily. "And if the answer is no then we're really ruthless." For more information go to www.nooria.co.uk.
their stockists are pretty low-end (I reckon they get their buyers from showing at the Pure womenswear trade show) and the designs look like they've very much had their day...I don't think people wear those kind of clothes anymore
It all looks a bit TK Maxx to me
