This cover sells me the story of a person who's really bad at graphic design but who is going to get hired repeatedly because of the way she looks.

Crikey, they couldn't style Sara's hair properly? She's such a gorgeous girl. I wanted to like this more than her Numéro France cover, but I can't.

Sara Sampaio. The first Portuguese Angel. The first big Portuguese Female Model.
Before it, most of our success up until Sara was mainly Male with Sampaio Brothers, Gonçalo Teixeira and Fernando Cabral/Cabral Brothers, when came to models. Not many Portuguese models get out of Portugal. It has been common after Sara.

Sara is the biggest reference as a model in Portugal. She is a good model. She could get far more than she what she did until now. Far, far more... She has that potential. On the VS new angels, she is one of the best.
She always knew how to photograph far better than a lot of models. But something happened. She completely lost any sign of spark when comes to Modeling. This cover for Numero is just another example of it.

And Editorial seems to be going that way as well...




I am enormously proud of Sara, but I do feel very disappointed in her, lately... Because you see her potential, you how much more she could have accomplished and she doesn't want it for her... She prefers to act. To be an influencer.
