Numéro Tokyo #46 May 2011 : Gisele Bundchen by Nino Muñoz

At first I was bombarded by the mass of hair. I appreciate it's something different for Gisele's appeal.

I like the hair and make up, but the open mouth pose is a little too much for a cover, I would rather see a slightly less tone down version (mouth closed and less head tilt) for the cover, but I am totally fine if Gisele, went on a buckwild, drag spree in an editorial, especially if the Louis Vuitton SS 2011 collection is involved since she is probably one of the few models who can do it justice.

ETA:
In a parallel universe ruled by RuPaul, the cover model's name is Honey Bun Brasilia. :P

I reported this news way back in December/January. Glad it turned out to be true and glad it was for a cover! :D Gisele is always prevalent in the spring months. come summer/winter she is non-existent, don't worry.

^i didn't realize non-existent meant 3 vogue covers. she got vogue nippon, vogue italia, and vogue china this winter! that isn't non-existent.

ok maybe I should rephrase it to early year. :P mid/late year she is MIA usually. (just my observations since I follow her career closely)

Gisele seems to be back to fashion so hard!!!! a lot of covers and editorials!
btw, i really like this one! totally different from Gisele's appeal

Congrats to them for presenting something different with Gisele. Only Gisele can pull off such a tacky look. She almost make Drag queens look sexy and chic.

make-up isn't working for me but everything else is pretty amazing!

she's been in so many covers lately that it's a good thing that she changed gears for this one...give us something different

I'm already loving Poolside Society and Drifting Here.

very interesting, looking forward to the editorial feature.
