The haute couture shows for next autumn-winter open today in a sombre mood, with the fate of the house of Christian Lacroix hanging in the balance since it went into administration. French fashion house Christian Lacroix was placed on June 2, 2009 under administration after filing for bankruptcy protection because of the global financial crisis.
