All Change

IT'S all change for London Fashion Week's off-schedule event On|Off which, for February 2009, will move to a new venue in a bid to concentrate on installation-based shows.
"Gone are the days when designers would create a 60-piece collection for a catwalk show. Designers are creating hand-crafted, one-off pieces, which buyers really go for," On|Off director Lee Lapthorne tells DRAPERSONLINE.COM. "So we're creating a more boutique, salon-like feel for designers to showcase in."
Danielle Scutt and Sinha-Stanic are among the designers showcasing their collections with the event this season.
On|Off will take place at the Royal Academy of Arts from September 15 to 19 during London Fashion Week, which kicks off next month.
