Does anyone know of any good organic desigenrs?
I like CASUAL, ACTIVE, SPORTY type styles.

ECO CHIC - Stewart+Brown is my favorite at the moment.

A friend of mine made a dress in organic cotton... Very soft
I wonder though, if there is any interesting development in organic fabric
like there are finishes added to fabric that can make it very beautiful,
such as making it glossy or making it crinkled
or it can help it become moth-proof or water-resistant
But these are usually chemicals, I think
I wonder if they are developing processes to imitate these effects without use of chemicals

I'm not sure how they make it so shiny though but the website states they try to be friendly to the environment through all the stages of production. (http://www.ciel.ltd.uk/acatalog/ETHICAL.html).

Ah yes
Well I just found out they can just burnish the fabric with a hot roller to make it shiny
No chemicals there

I would like to suggest H&M. They've brought a organic collection that is beautiful. Very casual chic.

^second that ! I bought some very nice and long, long slv tshirts from their organic line and the H&M Organic pieces for kids are really great as well.

I have been a fan of Velvet Leaf Clothing for a while. They have go beyond just making basics using organic fabric (like American Apparel) but make things that are a bit more more fashion forward. Here are a couple of photos from their S/S08 look book.
