Original VS New Formula

Often times makeup brands change up the formula of some of their products with the intention of either improving it even more or to cut costs.

What are some of your thoughts on products you used to love that have gotten a makeover?

For me the most 2 noticable formula changes that i didn't appreciate were from Too Faced

The Lash Injection mascara
The Pink Leopard bronzer

I hated both of them after they introduced the new formula.

I had no idea they reformulated the lash injection mascara!

My HG foundation got reformualted and I'm frustrated at the moment trying to look for a new foundation Laura Mercier Silk Creme was perfect before they decided to change the formula, packaging, and name.

That must be extremely frustrating

This is the original Lash Injection by Too Faced, I guess it didn't do too well in terms of sales, it first came on to the market in 2009/2010

I was just at Sephora and saw they had changed the packaging, I thought they discontinued it. What is different about the formula? I have read their Lashagram mascara is quite similar to Lash Injection's original mascara, maybe you could try that one? The wand's are different, though. Lashagram has a thinner wand compared to Lash Injection's original wand.

The original formula of The Lash Injection gave me the false lash effect very easily it thickened the look of my lashes and elongated them without clumping or maybe just a tiny bit of clumping, it says that the formula would latch on to the lash and tube around the lashes I am not quite sure about that claim, the mascara had a strong distinctive scent to it as well which I miss :roll eyes: Holy Grail mascara for me for the longest time, it was kind of similar to Too Faced better than sex mascara in terms of effect but quite different than Lash Gram I did not like Lash Gram either
