Orlando Bloom

He looks a bit girly in those VF pictures.... I think he's much sexier with his short hair :crush:

official announcement...
Orlando Bloom in David Storey’s In Celebration at the Duke of York's Theatre from 5 July 2007
It is now confirmed that Orlando Bloom will play Steven in David Storey’s In Celebration, which opens at the Duke of York's Theatre 12 July 2007, following previews from 5 July - booking to 15 Sep 2007
Directed by Anna Mackmin, the play also features Lynda Baron (Mrs Burnett), Gareth Farr (Colin), Paul Hilton (Andrew) and Ciaran McIntyre (Reardon). Further casting will be announced shortly.
In Celebration has designs by Lez Brotherson, lighting by Mark Henderson, music by Stephen Warbeck and sound by John Leonard. Produced by Sonia Friedman Productions.
Three brothers - Andrew, Colin and Steven - return home to the northern roots of their childhood for a family reunion. Although they have returned to celebrate, the explosive complexities of family life and long-held grievances are unlikely to improve the chances of a decent party…
After two seasons with the National Youth Theatre, Orlando Bloom trained at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since graduating he has worked exclusively on screen in such films as The Lord of the Rings trilogy, in which he played Legolas, Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down, The Kelly Gang, The Calcium Kid, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, Elizabethtown and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy (in which he plays Will Turner).

Nice pics.

Saw POTC last night and mmmmmm lots of Will yummyness.

I was rather surprised by the resolution to the Will/Elizabeth plotline - not very disney-esque.

he looks so much younger and erm... fresher with short hair. love it! And yes, the ending of POTC was unusual

I don't want to spoil it for folks who haven't seen the movie but apparently the final scene doesn't clearly explain the fact that if the Dutchman's true love waits the 10yrs for him then he will be free of the ship and able to live back on land forever. The reason Davy was stuck as Captain was because when he returned to land Calypso had gone - she mentioned her unpredictable nature - however I dare say that fate wouldn't meet the next Captain.

The boy does nothing for me these days. :( I feel like he's lost something as of late, but I'm not sure what. He used to have a real sparkle in his eyes, but I don't see that anymore. Hmm... perhaps it's just me.

Oh I think this last yr, especially since he chopped off the Will Turner locks, he's never looked better. Younger and happier. I'm sure being finished POTC is a huge weight off his shoulders. I just hope the play works out ok for him.

I miss the William Turner hair, though he's still got those eyes no matter what so I'll let it slide

I love his photo shoots, but he always looks so sad. :(

He looks a bit like my fiance in those pictures with the grey sweater :brows:  Yum.

I completely agree with you on the hair thing... he looked so hot, I was staring at his face throughout the whole film

^^ Fiance? Congrats hun!
And ummmm lucky you!

Aww, thankyou
And he doesn't look that much like Orlando, except for the hair and the eyes and the skin. And he has a sweater like that

I just thought he was super hot in the climax when he has that bandana over his head.... and that scar... YUM!!
