Orlando Bloom

I HATE his hair! it's ugly ugly ugly!! IRKS!

but I love the pics with Kate...adorable! :D

Ever time I see her she looks like worse crap it's so funny. He's getting a bit of a belly, but at least he doesn't look like he's dying. They both seem to love to ham it up to the camera's though.

I really don't get Orlando. First when him and Kate starting dating the press would ask him about it and even under the worst presure, he wouldn't say anything about it. Now it's suddenly like he's proud of her, even though before whenever he noticed a stalkarrazi taken photos, he'd act as if he didn't know her. The man is starting to confuse me.

He's hair looks odd...

Just wanted to comment on Elizabethtown, don't worry no spoilers. He did a very good job although I didn't really understand parts of it (i'm pretty thickheaded). And of course he looked very nice, very nice indeed.

Well, I dont think he does say so much about Kate. He just admited that they are dating, and that is all.
He said once, not to belive everything they write, because most of the thigns that press is writing, is fake or made up.

He's now bringing her to premieres, and openly kissing her, and before it was like she had a disease or something and had to stay away. When he was on Oprah he openly talked about her too.

a point where he'll be the male version of J-Lo

He can't ever be the male version of Lopez, as she has no class, Orlando is British, and has class. Lopez doesn't, she can act, but can't sing.

He can't be the male Lopez because he's got no booty! You can't be a Jlo version without da butt. Tis her meal ticket. He's hot, but the boy has no junk in his trunk. Most guys don't though I guess.

Maybe they're comfortable enough with the relationship now to make it obvious that they are dating. They still seem to guard it in a way, but still support each other, and act normal when photographed together now.

I think Orlando Bloom would make a much better Zorro than Antonio Banderos, in terms of looks I mean

Here's the GQ article:
http://men.style.com/gq/features/landing?&id=content_3962

and some pics for it(same website, taken by Testino!!:woot: )

Paying homage to David Hockney, a fellow British transplant in L.A., Bloom proves that mismatched socks go brilliantly with saddle shoes.
Wool two-button blazer, $1,540; cotton shirt, $325; silk tie, $150; corduroy pants, $395: all by Gucci. Vintage shoes by Walk-Over. Socks by Polo Ralph Lauren hosiery. Cuff links by Montblanc. Silk handkerchief by Gucci.

Every young Brit can take a cue from vintage Mick Jagger—velvet pants, mod white shoes, and a long scarf.
Wool peacoat, $1540; cotton shirt, $479; velvet pants, $490: all Dior Homme by Hedi Slimane. Scarf by Louis Vuitton. Vintage shoes by Bally.

Think tweed on speed. A classically British suit cut for the twenty-first century.
Wool one-button sport coat, $1,445; vest, $365: both by Cloak. Cotton shirt, $530, by Gucci.

No one wears loud, punchy colors better than the British. And few people wear clothes better these days than Orlando Bloom.
Wool one-button suit jacket, $1,090; pants, $425; cashmere-and-silk cardigan, $690; cotton shirt, $245; silk tie, $495: all by Burberry Prorsum. Shoes, $367, by John Varvatos. Socks by Modern Amusement. Cane by Paul Stuart.

Yes, pajamas work well with a camel-hair overcoat—if you’re a wealthy, slightly eccentric English gentleman lounging on his estate’s lawn after a long night.
Camel-hair coat, $2,710, by Prada, and a pair of cotton pajamas, $70, by Brooks Brothers.

He looks absolutely dashing. His hair!!! AMAZING! Reminds me of the early 20's (pre-Pirates)Orlando that just got into the fame game. He looks so good, all scrubbed up, and not in his own clothes!:innocent: LOL!! :ninja:

Probably his best photoshoot. Not to say the others are crap, he just looks WOW. Words cannot describe.

I'm sorry but I have a hot/cold relationship with Testino's work and I'm sorry to say that I think this shoot looks dead.(Some are soooo breathtakingly amazing whilst other shoots just fizzle out into blah)

There's so many cool props, locations and the clothes are really fascinating (as is Orlando's hair, heh:flower: ) but he looks lifeless, the photos are just plain flat.

Photo #1 what's up with the shadows cross Orlando's face, and making him look like his eyes are crossing? I get that the different socks are supposed to make the picture assymetric. This could have been great.

Photo #2 has every ingredient on the planet that should be working on the photographer's side, it's like an amateur trying to copy Anne Leibowitz. The props don't meld, they look arranged, and that flair on top of the helmet is really breaking whatever flow there was in this set up.
Someone should have stolen Orlando's tea, I'll give you that, so that he'd look a bit more grumpy/miffed and focused and less "Does this look ok?"

Photo #3 Not sharp. There's no standout either.

Photo #4 The longer I look at it, the weirder it looks. Orlando's bodyparts looks really assymetric, it doesn't help that his head looks cut'n'pasted on with photoshop (this is due to lighting, I know)

Photo #5 I think the light on the right side of his face (his left) is wrong and should perhaps have been blocked out because it breaks up his face, and not in a good way.

How is this possible when Orlando Bloom is the subject?

I'm not usually this critical, but I'm really disappointed, particulary with the talent and potential go to waste.

This is so typical Testino, this ALMOST there feel to his pictures that annoys me to pieces. (I want him to get it....so bad)

I really love Orlando's hair in this shoot though. It looks masculine and great.

I get what you mean about the cut'n'paste thing. I have taken aboard what you've said and has made me examine the pics in more detail, and to some extent I agree with you. However, I have bypassed the negatives and I still think these are great pics. Probably because I  Orlando! A bit biased! But I like that you've given constructive criticism. AND explained why you think it wasnt Testino's best. Are you a photographer?

And yes, the hair is awesome! He should style his hair more often. Possibly something like this, it would go down V. well with his adoring, young, old, teenbopper, not teenybopping fans! Especially moi!
