A striking new Jamaican has been introduced to the world of modelling and she's hit NYFW S/S 2011 running. Signed to Muse (NYC), at just 16 yo Ornelia is the newest import/export (depending on which side of the globe you sit) to be favoured and featured by casting agents and designers alike - having walked no less than 5 collections in four days.
Scouted in March 2010 by Jamaican model agency Saint International and winning their annual 'Fashion Face' model search Ornelia was flown to NYC just in time for go-sees and said S/S shows. Her high cheekbones, full lips, langly legs and identifiable strut may immediately draw comparisons to agency mate and former D&G campaign model Nakiesha Robinson, but Ornelia having a full three years on Nakiesha when she first started, one is expecting an even longer career filled with many great possibilities.
